Prepare your body and bond with your baby!  A Prenatal Yoga practice prepares your body to remain strong and blissful during pregnancy, while preparing your body and mind for birth and labor. In addition to strengthening the body, breathing (pranayama), affirmations and vocal toning are taught in this class to prepare the body for labor and birth. Also, get your questions answered about your upcoming birth! Share the joys and trials of your pregnancy with the instructor and fellow yoginis, while taking care of your body and baby. Recommended at any stage of pregnancy with permission from your care provider.  No prior yoga experience required.

“The moment a child is born, the mother is also born. She never existed before. The woman existed, but the mother,  never.”

Linking yoga postures with the breath will guide you to more awareness of the mind, body and spirit for you and your child.

The program, conducted in a calm, peaceful environment will help strengthen the uterus and pelvic muscles, improve circulation, aid in digestion, exercise the spine and increase overall comfort. Yoga can also alleviate many of the discomforts of pregnancy such as nausea, constipation, varicose veins, swelling, back pain and sciatica. A safe, open community allows you to freely discuss any issues, from discomforts and concerns, to the wonderful new changes your body and baby are experiencing.
