The main work of the class is called a kriya, which is a proscribed sequence of poses and movements that focuses on a specific system of the body or emotional quality. The class ends with a meditation, which may be accompanied by sacred music, and a closing song. Kundalini Yoga will help bring you to a balanced and peaceful state of wellness.

Restorative Yoga

Restorative Yoga is a very gentle, therapeutic form of yoga, in which each pose is fully supported by props such as blankets, bolsters and blocks. Being fully supported allows your body to relax completely, your mind to grow quiet as you move towards a state of balance, allowing deep nourishing and healing to take place. The focus is on relaxation, breath, and releasing stress. Movement plus breathing - the direct link between your body and mind - helps you move into deeper levels of relaxation. As the body lets go of stress and mind quiets, students will enjoy experiencing their peaceful, true selves. Restorative Yoga is appropriate for students of all levels.
