This life changing training welcomes all students! -- Those that wish to become instructors but also, those simply wishing to deepen their practice and learn more about the essence of yoga, no matter what age or what level you are at. The journey starts here!

The practicum is unique in that it explores traditional Hatha Yoga. As such, you will learn three styles of practice: Vinyasa Flow, Hatha and Gentle Yoga.  For Vinyasa Flow, a class sequence of warm up, sun salutations, balance series , warrior series, floor poses, backbends, inversions, final twist and svasana to will be stressed.

Includes asanas, pranayamas, kriyas, chanting, mantra, ayurveda, meditation and other traditional yoga techniques, principles of demonstration, observation, assisting and correcting, business aspects of teaching yoga. Includes both human physical anatomy and physiology (bodily systems, organs, etc.) and energy anatomy and physiology (chakras, nadis, etc.). Includes both the study of the subject and application of its principles to yoga practice (benefits, contraindications, healthy movement patterns, etc), the study of yoga philosophies, yoga lifestyle and ethics for yoga teachers. 
The word “hatha” comes from the Sanskrit terms “ha” meaning “sun” and “tha” meaning “moon”. Thus, Hatha Yoga is known as the branch of Yoga that unites pairs of opposites referring to the positive (sun) and negative (moon) currents in the system. Hatha Yoga tries to achieve balance between body and mind, as well as attempts to free the more subtle spiritual elements of the mind through physical poses or Asanas, Breathing techniques Pranayama, and Meditation. 
Training Schedule Fall 2019 Session:
Saturdays and Sundays 12:00-7:00 p.m. unless otherwise stated.

Investment Options:
*Paid in full: $2500 before August 14th. Otherwise, $2750. Includes 2 classes weekly of Mandatory practice. Audio and video classes are available.
*Auto Payment plan: $2750 totaling $416.66 month. A $500 non-refundable deposit is required. To participate in the payment plan, email/visit/call the studio for details on how to enroll.
*Training is non refundable two weeks before the start date. No exceptions.
